Turning into Starbucks yesterday to meet with the event emcee, I hear Cak Crack BOOM! My wheel axle broke on "Betty" and I'm sitting on PEACHTREE during RUSH Hour--BUT, it Didn't happen on 75, and Very strangely there was Light traffic on P'tree! So...we rehearsed on the sidewalk while waiting on the tow truck!! ...Two ladies overheard us &were interested & are now coming to the event! God is good, even when the situation is bad... it could always be worse. :)

Hey hey hey!  More Updates!!!  I'm blessed to see a new age bracket (30) for about a month now!!  I've got a new assistant, Ericka Morton, who is fabulous! The last model rehearsal went so wonderfully!  A Top-Level financial sponsor came through last week!  The flyers are Beautiful!  We have a full staff and All rehearsing participants!  We have just about all of the materials for Every aspect of the event! Press is pouring through!  So far, I'm SO proud of all of the hard work--including my one stunt of working for 3 literal days straight--invested by everyone into this production!   I'm doing all I can to make sure this event is FLAWLESS!  Everyone is contributing 100%  Things are going well!  But don't think it's been a bed of roses the entire time...

The Official date to save is March 21, 2010!  Originally we wanted Feb. 7 which was the day after my 30th B-day, but it just so happens that the Superbowl stole my event date!!  Not sure why it' isn't in January this year...

The website is mostly finished for the vintage clutches.  I'm going to add a few more photos from the Maryland shoot with studio photographer, Nicholas Brezell & then it's finished!  The photoshoot for the designer (muah) was yesterday and captured the most Brilliant and unique concept you will ever see!  Robert Johnson is not only an international media photographer but a genius as well!

Now, if you haven't already, make sure you add me on facebook.com for more up to the minute updates.  As usual, it's 5:23 am and I am winding down... last week I stayed up for 3 days straight getting everything together for this launch.  Am I nuts?  Nah, just driven out of this world!  I've been through too much for everything not to come out just right!  Ok, my eyes are beginning to cross, blur & burn...  Goodnight! :)

Ok ok ok... so I haven't posted in a while BUT I have darn good reasons!  First off, the Cali performance went well, a few pics are Here.  It was bananas, but the turnout was amazing!!  Full house! Great Response! Yeah!

I'm so happy to be back in ATL again!!!  But before I left MD/DC I was in a really bad (my first) CAR ACCIDENT!  My car was considered a TOTAL LOSS :( ... and it took me Three Months to find my PERFECT Honda!  BUT--God is so Good, I didn't have any broken bones, ...

So below is an exclusive clip from my photoshoot for my new line of Custom Vintage Clutches!!  The only other clip is on Facebook for now.  This was a five hour shoot, and in those few hours we crammed hair styling, make-up and  wardrobe on two models with endless poses, photos & a pizza break!  I can't wait until the photos are ready!!!  (No, I Really Cannot Wait!!) :)

Special Thanks:  Nicholas Brezzell Photography Studios, Nicholas Brezzell

Yipee!  I am currently collaborating with a Cancer Research Doctor from Georgetown University who is ambitously writing a children's book in her almost non-existant free time!  I met her at a social event and it came up that I was an artist and then I found out she was seeking an illustrator for her project.  I am now in the character development phase of this scholastic journey!  She particularly liked two of the character styles of the five concepts she's viewed, so I'm working on a few revisions!  I can't wait until we decide on a final character, it will be on full fledge after that! :D

It hasn't quite fully sunk in yet.  The man who seemed immortal is no longer with us.  But his humanitarian efforts through song & action will be remembered--especially by me.  I always TRY to help or heal, empower, enlighten or educate through my art.  In all forms of art there is a message to be shared, but the content of the message will determine how you impact the world.  Michael Jackson, a creative force to be reckoned with, was always true to himself, despite the nasty tabloids & heartless media.  From writing about his pet mouse to pleading with the media to be left alone, he did MJ without apology.  That is what I admire the most aside from his positive messages about Michael...

I am so excited!!  I have been relentlessly working on custom vintage handbags and journals, much like the ones on the fashion page, but outside of the A.K.A. design!  These are all inspired by my love to encourage others and my flare for funky & original fashion!!  I know how awesome it feels to have the "last" of something or believe that no one else has what you have!  So this is for those who LOVE to be original!...
